Additional details:

  • The hours in each membership package can be used for any mix of in-person visits, errands, or remote help with your dedicated assistant.

  • In-person visits are a minimum of two hours.

  • Remote help can include a variety of tasks, such as virtual tech support, email correspondence, online shopping, appointment scheduling, travel planning, or online research.

  • When an assistant runs errands in their personal vehicle, an additional mileage fee of $1/mile applies

  • May add ad-hoc hours for $60/hour

2. Meet your assistant.

We carefully interview and background check all of our assistants, ensuring they possess the technical skills, resourcefulness, and life experience necessary to support our clients.

We pair each client with a dedicated assistant based on their unique needs and location in the Twin Cities metro.

Our assistants are your neighbors, and they might be:

3. Share the load.

Your Elda assistant is an extension of yourself - handling the hard parts of your to-do list so you can get back to what you enjoy.

 FAQs

  • Elda is not a healthcare provider, and our assistants are not a substitute for home health aides. While we can’t provide personal care, medical care or help with medication management, we are happy to connect clients to other trusted partners who provide those services.

  • Yes! One of our main goals is to give families more quality time together doing the things they love, and less time working on administrative tasks. Elda makes a great gift for a family member, helping the time you spend together be more meaningful.

  • Housework, cleaning and laundry are beyond the scope of our service, though we’re happy to recommend and coordinate trustworthy local service providers.

  • Yes! Many of our assistants are able to drive their clients to appointments and social events. They can provide escorts to the airport and run errands with you or on your behalf.

    Additionally, we have access to a number of local service providers and can arrange specialized transport when Uber or Lyft won’t do.
